Wagon derails in Bhairab

Early Friday, a wagon belonging to a Dhaka-bound freight train was thrown off the tracks at Bhairab Upazila. As the track was blocked, no train could run for more than five hours. Around 12:30am, the wagon of the Dhaka bound freight train derail in Jagannathpur of Bhairab Upazila. Officials reported that a relief train team saved it around 5:00 AM. Mohammad Khairul Kabir (divisional transportation officer, railway east zone), told New Age that the wagon had been rescued immediately. He said that no one was hurt in the incident.
